Table view separator color

I cam currently using

myTableView.separatorColor = [UIColor blackColor];

in my view did load method but it isn't working for some reason. Am I missing anything?

Try this,

myTableView.style = UITableViewStylePlain;

myTableView.separatorStyle = UITableViewCellSeparatorStyleSingleLine;

myTableView.separatorColor = [UIColor blackColor];
