Question Access Apple Icons Stored on Device

Can developer applications access all Apple icon files stored on the iPhone? For example, I want to have a table row that uses the same "Videos" icon that Apple uses in the iPod App table view. Can it be referenced from other applications, like the detail disclosure button icon? Is there a reference that includes a list of all the image file names/paths that are accessible? Thanks.

I don't believe there is a way to access those, you'll probably need to end up making your own version.

That is what I suspected, and what I am doing now. I thought there might be a chance of referencing them since you can do it with the detail disclosure button. Maybe I just didn't know what to call them or where to look. It would save some work recreating the icons, and a tiny amount of application size adding them to a project.

Thumbs up Some Icons Are Accessible

An update that I thought might help someone else. A few of the official Apple buttons are accessible. Here is a list of UIBarButtonItem.

There is also a thread with a code chunk on how to use it, and discussion on the risks of getting rejected if not used appropriately within Apple HIG.

Unfortunately, I still don't see a way to get the icons used in the iPod app (e.g. Podcasts, Songs, Videos, etc.). If anyone knows different, please shout!
