Display cursor of UITextField without displaying keyboard

Hi,
Can we display a text box, which is in form of disable where only its cursor is displayed. Are we able to do this? I went through docs several times just could not find a way? Can some body help me on this.

I am trying to do the exact same thing but I haven't found a solution. Have you had any luck?
