Sorry if this is a little off-topic, but it's all related. Honest!
I get the feeling that Apple's organisational and planning skills are pretty lacking. I hope you guys get your apps accepted soon. Likewise I hope I actually finally get accepted to the dev program soon after putting so much effort into developing an app.
The problem I see is that they're running an awful risk of annoying developers and consumers. Whoever thought it was a good idea to launch the App Store yesterday and, in the interim, not make the 2.0 update available for real, needs their head examining. Maybe I was stupid, but I brought some apps yesterday thinking "well, if the App Store's live, then the 2.0 update will be available shortly". As of now it's still not available, yet people have been buying the 3G phone here in the UK for nearly 4 hours now (well, if they can get one, apparently stocks are very limited).
So as a consumer I'm a little annoyed that nearly 24 hours later I can't use what I purchased and as a developer, frustrated at the silence and lack of transparency

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they start accepting on the dev program soon - looking at the majority of what's there, it's disappointing how many of the launch day apps appear to be lacking in polish.
