Can't change the color of the status bar

Hi all,
I have some problems changing the color of the status bar in my app using IB.
Well in IB I can change it from gray, to black and translucent black, but in the siulator and on my iPod it is sill gray. I have only one MainWindow.xib in my project where I try to change the Statusbar property.

Any hints what went wrong here?

Problem solved:

I just added an entry to info.plist

Key: UIStatusBarStyle
Value: UIStatusBarStyleOpaqueBlack
