As far as i know, the resolution of the iPhone is 480x320

Both the iPhone & iPod touch are 320x480 pixels at 163dpi.

I'm pretty sure I counted 164 dots in one of the inches. Let me go back and count again. Oh sorry, that was just bit of dust. Yeah, it's 163.

Yeah, I mis-counted once or twice too. Sadly, I went cross-eyed counting to 163/164 all those times, so my coding has slowed down a bit.

Perhaps you started counting from 0? I go cross-eyed after counting the first 50...
