Error on final step of App Store submission

I can get all the way to the final review screen where I can click the button "Submit Application" but when I do, I receive this page error:

There was an error saving changes: ValidationTemplate.MZPurpleSoftware.name.NullPrope rtyException. Stack is: [Ljava.lang.StackTraceElement;@802d6b

Does anyone know what this is?

I ended up using the ApplicationLoader utility and everything went fine. Not sure what was going on through iTunesConnect.

Hope this helps anyone running into this roadblock.
