Smile Query regarding submission to appstore

Hi all,
I wanted to know one thing.
While submitting our app to appstore, exactly what do we submit?
And what is approval process? I mean, what do they look at for approval.

Thanks..

First, remember to fill in your contract and financial information if you plan on charging for the app. For some people this is the longest process.

For the app, they are looking that you meet the UI guidelines, so please read their guidelines doc and follow it so that the look and feel of your app follows their standards.

They will also look for crashes in your applications. If it crashes, they will reject it.

And also that there is some functionality in your app. They seem to be clamping down on apps that just play a video directly or just a sound. Have a couple of pieces of interaction in there to get past that. Like shacking the phone starts the video over again, or a button to speed up the play.

Bytor is spot on with what he said above. It is also worth mentioning that Apple's approval policies are somewhat amorphous, and many times some will apps will get rejected for something that other approved apps have. There are a lot of threads in this forum regarding Apple's strange behavior regarding rejections; I recommend you read through them to get a measure of what you might want to watch out for.
