TableView in IB?

Could somebody help me out on using tabes in Interface Builder?

Just a basic guide? It doesn't have to be anything too in depth (unless you want it to be! ), just something basic I can work off of. I'm trying to get some tables into a tab bar controller in an app I'm developing.

Do any of the apple table sample apps use IB primarily? I can't find any that seem to...

My advice would be to take a look at the UITableViewController and forget about IB at this point. Trust me, you will save a lot of time.
I was so determined to use IB thinking it's saving lot of time but actually ended up spending more.

Take a loot at the UIShowcase, TableViewSuite examples. they all use tables intensively.

I understand that, but I just feel like everything is being pushed towards interface builder and while I may save time now, I'm more worried about the grand picture.

Also, it would be a lot of work to go back and redo the projects in straight coding as there are two that I'm very far along and porting it over could make me not only lose a couple days, but also that would mean I'm not moving ahead for a couple days.

Either create a new table controller class and use the supplied template or copy one of the example files and modify them for your purpose.

You can then set the IB Navbar or Toolbar to use your table viewcontroller class.
Then when they're clicked your table view controller should be loaded.

Well, I feel dumb now.

I figured out my problem I was having a little while ago.

I was doing everything correctly, it would seem, except I was linking a view as well. I deleted the view I was linking and it worked just fine!
