I wanted to add that all messages posted in these threads should be only to provide information about the specific job, not for communication that can otherwise be made via a private dialog (PM or email).
These are the primary guidelines you should follow when posting to a thread in this forum:
DO post to the thread if you are seeking clarification about the job.
DO post to the thread if the OP is unreachable (PM box is full, email address bounces), but only if no one else has already done so.
(For the OP) DO post to the thread if/when the job is no longer available. This is encouraged as a courtesy to members viewing the threads.
DO NOT post to the thread if the OP has not returned your private communication.
DO NOT post to the thread to say "PM sent", or "You've got mail". The purpose of PM and email is to communicate, so posting to the thread that you've attempted a private communication is doubly-redundant.
DO NOT post to the thread to say "I can do this. Please email me at ..." message. Use PM or email to contact the OP.
DO NOT post a boilerplate message about the services your company offers. This is highly discouraged -- and may result in your account being banned.
DO NOT post any other messages that don't fall into the "additional information" or "clarification" category.
