Default UILocalNotifications more than 64

I'm trying to see if there is anyway to guarantee that more than 64 notifications will fire if the app is in the background without ever going back into the app.

Right now the only way I know of is to schedule the first 64 notifications first, then at the launching, backgrounding and launching of a notification, check if the number of notifications is less than 64 if it is then reschedule your notifications.

I don't get why Apple implementation of notifications is sooo lame.

If anyone knows a better way let me know OR if you have any thoughts about it let me know.

You can't guarantee that 64 notifications will fire. The key word is guarantee. Apple placed a restriction, whether it is always enforced or how it is enforced is unknown so you cannot rely on a test that you did in which more than 64 notifications fired.

Hope that helps.

I think you misunderstood or i wasn't clear enough, i wasn't saying that i have more than 64 scheduled. I was asking if anyone has found a way to keep 64 scheduled if you have more than 64 required notifications in your app, without ever having to go back into the app.

But what i can take from your response is that there isn't another way, which is a shame. Ill just have to explain if customers need more than 64 notifications they will have to launch the app every now and again, to rescheduled everything.
