I am wonder if someone could help me. I am upgrading my app and was testing the upgrade process by installing the app form the app store to my device and then doing a build and run from Xcode.
But, the launch is failing. I can see the icon being updated, but the launch page flickers and I get a error in Xcode:"Error launching remote program: failed to get task for process 93." or "Broken pipe". If I stop the process and build and run again the app launches fine.
I searched and found this issue could be the provisioning profile...which I have tried re-creating and still get the issue.
No idea what can be the problem, sorry.. but I have never had any problem submitting updates of my apps, and no customer has complained, so don't worry to much about if the app update will work, just make sure your app works and don't introduce ugly bugs.

You shouldn't worry about whether the update process will work: it will. Just make sure the latest version of your app works, and you're good to go. If it's approved, Apple will take care of the rest.
