Default looping an assetItem in AVQueuePlayer

Before I take a whack at AVComposition or outright hackery I'm wondering if anyone knows if AVQueuePlayer can loop the last video in its queue. I don't seem to be able to get it or the AVPlayerItem to seekToTime:kCMTimeZero... I had figured this would be possible because the QueuePlayer inherits from AVPlayer but no such luck. My guess is that when an item from the queue is finished that the player summarily ignores the existence of that item. It's not helpful that an AVPlayerItem doesn't post a AVPlayerItemDidPlayToEndTimeNotification when it's in a queue player either.

Before I take the time to see if leapfrog feeding the queue with new AVPlayerItems during playback (the hackery mentioned above) will work I figured I'd see if anyone has a trick for making AVQueuePlayer loop.

Thanks!

Uodate... I ended up doing hackery and not being especially pleased with the results--the snap-through-black between movies may or may not show, and because I was bad and didn't inquire as to the load status etc it's possible to get many things confused.

But for straight looping an AVQueuePlayer assetItem it works to set a boundaryTime observer and use that to rewind the assetItem. My stuff is only a few seconds long so the seekToTime is pretty seamless, I don't know what it'll do seeking on a longer asset.
