Smile Meds Reminder App

Hello. I would like to develop a Medication Reminder app to help people keep better track of their meds.

The app has to feature -
Input system - Allows you to input data into the app including a time for reminder, pill name, and possibly details. Must be able to track multiple pills.

Push notifications - App sends a push notification when the pill is supposed to be taken.

Potentially Ads (Admob, iAd)

I am looking to pay between $60-80 USD for the project. I may need assistance with submission to Apple as well. Graphics will be provided.

Thanks

Awesome question

The oijii-part of the OP's request for me is the push notifications. This implies that you'd be keeping track of people's medications off-phone and in the cloud somewhere. And there's a "little" US law called HIPPA that could turn that into a freaking nightmare.

You can dodge that problem using local notifications - and that way nothing leaves the phone. Ignorance is bliss.

BTW - if you jump on the offer, make sure you check out the FDA's Orange Book (and other resources - FDA, NIH, etc.). You can get a big ol' list of drugs and make the user's data-entry life easier. The Orange Book even does nice things like list out the available strengths, etc.
