iOS Programmer Position

Smarthome, the home automation superstore, is currently seeking an iOS Programmer (we are looking for full-time, local employee).

Job Duties include (but not limited to):

 Development and testing of iPhone/iPad applications to enhance user experience of products
 Knowledge of and ability to adhere to “best practice” application development models such as object oriented methodology. (User Interface Guidelines)
 Experienced software development with demonstrated iPhone/iPad (iOS) experience.
 Create data driven applications in the iOS environment for the iPad/iPhone.
 Provide a development environment to support design, development, and test of iOS applications.
 Assist with application design for iOS devices.
 Experience working in a task driven environment with adherence to strict delivery deadlines.
 Working in a team structure and being open to assisting in other tasks (other platform development)

Job Requirements include (but not limited to):

 Programming experience in Objective-C for iOS for app development
 Strong understanding of interactive application development paradigms, memory management, file I/O, network & socket programming, concurrency and multi-threading
 Excellent object-oriented design and development skills
 Familiar with the Software Development Life-Cycle Experience (SDLC)
 C++ and C# experience
 3 to 4 years experience developing iOS applications with current apps released through iTunes Connect.
 Experienced with the Certification/Provisioning/Release process through Apple.
 Development of data driven applications in iOS (iPad/iPhone)
 Development iOS applications that can be updated remotely.
 Provide data design expertise for analytical reports and applications,
 Experience with iOS API for development.
 Prior experience with HTML and XML (2 to 3 years)
 Experience with Multi-threaded applications
 Ability to interface mobile applications with web applications
 Familiar with Cocoa and Xcode (iOS) Environments
 Experience with Systems Architecture and Source Code

 Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
-Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience in iOS

NOTE:

1. Applicant must submit a work history of application that they have worked on and their responsibility in that project.
2. Applicant must also submit a list of apps that are currently available via iTunes for additional review.

We are not looking for a game developer for the iOS platform. This position is for an Application Programmer.
