Needed - iOS Developer for iPhone, iPad, iPod App *Fun Startup Company*

We are looking for a part-time / full time / independent contractor / outsourced company who specializes in iOS development. Specifically, we are looking to develop an app that works in the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. We are looking for a qualified individual or team who, if things go well, could eventually be in charge for long-term mobile app development for our web business.

Applicants should be in the Los Angeles area.

The project is for an internet startup in Downtown Los Angeles. The company has considerable funding and is preparing to re-launch in the coming weeks.

We are looking to meet talented individuals or teams who can help us to develop a simple application to begin. We cannot guarantee any short-term employment or long-term employment. It all really depends on how talented the person / team we interview, how well the first phase of the app launch goes, and how successfully the app can complement our web application.

The ideal candidate would possess MOST if not ALL of the following skills:
• Excellent understanding and experience from prior iOS Development
• Excellent understanding of online social games
• Excellent understanding of game dynamics and game theory
• Excellent understanding of Facebook Connect and it’s social use in websites and online games
• Excellent understanding of UI web design
• Great delegation skills
• Great communication skills (written and spoken)

As an overview of the project…

All major product development is completed on the main website. This App will just access the various aspects of the database. Currently, we have a team of 7 web developers working on the main website. So you will coordinate any necessary improvements / additions with them to facilitate the app integration.

In it’s most simple description, the app would just be drawing data from our servers to display to users, including user profile information. Users would log in to app / create an account through Facebook Connect. The majority of the app would be list-view oriented, and accessing our existing database. We would also like to implement things like SMS invites and push-notifications for various reminders, updates, etc. We will also use notifications that connect users to post content to their Facebook wall. The application will use branded graphics and other materials as designed by our web designers.
