My client is a small team of product-focused geeks changing the way people interact with their neighbors. They recently closed a $1M round of seed funding from an fantastic set of investors, and are now seeking new members to join their technical team.

Are you motivated to wear all hats and go where the problems are? Know a thing or two about mobile phones or web servers? Want to get in on a newly-funded startup?

Responsibilities

* Own our native iPhone client implementation.
* Participate heavily in product design and requirements definition.
* Build prototypes and iterate quickly in response to user feedback, market dynamics, and evolving product strategies.
* Coordinate closely with our server-side API efforts for efficient and maintainable client/server communication.
* As one of our first engineers, your role will grow as the company grows, in whatever way best suits your skills and interests.

Requirements

* Extensive experience with iPhone development is not required, but is a major plus. We're a small startup bringing on just a couple of key people, and adaptability and varied experience are more important than narrow expertise. So, show us some great iPhone work, or otherwise convince us that you'll be able to take on the client app as your first project.
* Experience working with Android, geospatial data, desktop webdev (HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript / AJAX), and/or server-side programming will also be very helpful.
