I'm massively confused here, so I live in Canada, I filled p the US tax for on the itunes connect thing AND I printed signed and sent the canadian tax form to apple inc in texas, ok all good.
What I'm wondering is.. When I sell my app for 99 cents, apple keeps 30%, I get 70%. Do I have the to report those earnings and pay tax on them OR does apple take care of that?? So the 70% i get is basically after taxes?

Never purchased an app have you? The app is actually more than $0.99, it's $0.99+tax

That's interesting.
I never looked at the prices, because I didn't care so much.
I only know, that Apple doesn't widthold taxes for me due to EU regulations and Contracts between my country and the US.
Anyway, I just checked now and I bought IAP in a game of a friend of mine, who is from the same country and the same rules apply.
I bought a $3,99 IAP in the US Appstore and I paid $4,11 for it.
I know, he will get the $3,99 - 30% like I do for my apps, but where are those 12 cents going? Hm... Probably into his pocket, because I always get more money than i.e. AppFigures counts for me.
I might also be completely wrong

I have got apps before duh silly BUT what i mean is OUR income from apple, lets say I sell 3000 worth of 99 app, i get 70% of that. Do I have to report that and then be taxes in my countries tax laws? SO from my 70% i would have to pay 20% to taxes.
OR does apple take care of that? Sorry if Im going in circles I cant wrap my mind about it yet.

Apple doesn't take care of your income taxes. They pay you 70% and you have to file that as your income and pay applicable taxes for the 70% you earned. As far as the sales tax, Apple collects the GST, HST or .... on your behalf and submits to CRA.

Income tax is different, that's up to you to report it properly

Exactly! Don't even start with development and sales! Stay in your boring, but safe job. It is the best choice. Believe me, you don't want to have so much stress for so few money. And I didn't even mention the 24/7 work that being independent means. Everybody will bash you, the users for having bugs, your family being a dreamer... You will burn out, you will spend all of your savings for advertisement hoping that it helps your app...
(ok guys, I think we have one competitor less... so let's count our money )
