Default Sell app to business

Hi, I've been approached from a little company who wants their own iPad app for sales and such.

This app won't be released to public, just to the employees of the company, so my question is, do I need to be part of any of the iOS development programs? I currently develop under the standard iOS Developer Program, but I don't need to publish to the AppStore, just make the app and install it on the company's iPads.

I've read about the iOS Developer Enterprise Program and the apple B2B, but I'm not developing for my own company, so Im somewhat confused @_@

Wish you can help me out here.

I would imagine B2B, or you make the company purchase an enterprise account, that may be the best way

Where you are located shouldn't matter.

But to answer your original question, it depends on how small the company is.

1. If the company has <20 devices, and you're feeling especially generous, you can deploy the app onto the company's devices under your dev account as ad hoc builds. (You get 100 devices to "test" with per year.)

2. If the company has up to 100 devices, they could always sign up for a standard $99 account and do the same thing as #1 above.

3. If the company needs to distribute to a wider audience outside the app store, you'll want the $299 enterprise distribution program.
