Default Can't Edit the Description!

I was just on iTunes Connect and tried to edit the description of one of my apps and got the message:

In order to save your changes, all iPhone/iPod touch screenshots must be a .jpeg, .jpg, .tif, .tiff, or .png file that is 960x640, 960x600, 640x960 or 640x920 pixels, at least 72 DPI, and in the RGB color space.

I really want to change the description now, but it won't accept the change unless I upload new screenshots - what is this all about?

New screens must be higher resolution. App Store is increasing resolution preview shots on all devices soon.

Simple fix. Download your screenshots and just double the size. Most likely 640x960.

That is what we had to do. Cheers.

Yeah, I just ran into this this afternoon. A quick way is to run you app from xcode in the retina simulator. Hit command+S. It will save a screenshot onto your desktop. Upload that onto apple.

Don't double your existing screens. It'll look like crud and will affect your sales/downloads.

Since My screenshots are modified versions of the actual screenshots modified in Photoshop, I had to go with the doubling of the existing images for the moment so that I could make the edits to the description. But this week, I plan to redo all my iPhone screenshots to higher resolution.
