One way to combat this is to have a huge number of us buy this app, then request a refund.
What I understand is that when someone requests a refund, they usually get it, then the seller has to pay the whole amount (including Apples 30%).
Apple could freeze the account, don't they wait about a month to actually pay? If they catch these in time, the money could be reversed before it gets into their account.

I just can't stop playing this game! *Sarcasm Off*
Apparently you don't even need screenshots these days to sell an app. Just have a cool icon and an already popular name. We've all been doing it all wrong!
"Although, considering Anton Sinelnikov is also behind games such as Plants vs Zombie, Angry Ninja Birds, and Sexual Offenders HD, we'll suggest that's unlikely."
Plus, he just removed screenshots so buyers wouldn't know the aspect of gameplay was different than what they thought. Not to mention it's a total piece of crap.
He made a gazillion of dollars until now.
Even if his account got banned, he will get the money and open up another one.
...
Not really. Read the terms and conditions carefully. It says that if the person requests a refund, then Apple refunds the full amount, but keeps 30%. So every refund actually COSTS the developer 30%. If those who bought it by mistake will request the refund, then this dev will end up actually OWING Apple.

If they removed this app, why don't they remove those other games such as "Mega Jump" , XXX jump, Doodle Run etc. I mean strictly speaking you can say these games are also infringing the originals for sure to some extent.
I hope its not because temple jump managed to make it to the top position.

yeah if more than X% of the people asks for a refund.
Actually very few users ask for refund.
Most of them don't even know that they can get a refund.
Even if 10% ask and get refunded (which is a very high %), he still has a few ten thousand dollars.
And apple will still pay him the rest, because I was also paid after my app was taken down (by me on request).
Google took down one of my android apps and I still got the money from them too.
So app taken down is not equal automatic refund for all buyers.
And why the other apps are still there?
Because nobody asked Apple to tell the developers.
This forum is full of copyright stuff. Look it up and you know the answer.

no, it's not automatic. according to T&C it's upon the end-user request.. so if the user didn't request his money back, then that's it, the dev will get paid.

In practice this isn't really true. I've gotten plenty of refunds and it only costs me my 70% share.
Is it gone? I guess i was too late to check it out lol. I see temple run though guessing it was a clone of that? I would be surprised though, the app has a bunch if IAP and seems quite original.
