Default Best discussion site for Android Devs

What are the best discussions sites & forums for Android devs?

I'm actually looking for something akin to this "Business, Legal, & App Store" forum more than something for programmers.

For example, I'd like to be able to talk with other devs who have experience publishing on the Amazon Appstore as well as Android Market to get a heads up on any gotchas, important things to do, etc.

Anyone have any suggestions for sites I should visit?

TIA

I've searched for ages for something like this, maybe the xda forums are worth a try but finally I haven't found anything good.

Will likely setup my own page for indie mobile devs for the main platforms of interest.

In my experience there is absolutelly nothing for Android. Not just no real good forum, but there is no real good review sites (like toucharcade), no statistics, no ranking tracking, nothing.

What I have found until now (rather for advertising and user experience):

Forums
Android Forum - Google Android Phone Community
Android Forum - Android Help, Hints, Answers - AndroidPIT
Android Forum
Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com
Android Forums

Review sites:
NONE that is not outdated, bad, amateurish or all of them in one.
In my experience Android sites concentrate mostly on hardware news and rumors and/or warez or they try to make a secondary market for devs and users who can't use the android market.

The Android market has also very few high quality apps. It is still the playground for wannabe programmers and crackerz.

Here is a list I have found, try to pick some from here:

Somebody should make a real good Android site or even this forum should have an android subforum.

The only android forum worth mentioning is anddev.org , but it's not really good either.

I do also think this forum should have an android subforum.

Well as I plan to do a more indie dev forum this would have sections for all platforms. And I would restrict access to some subforums like at toucharcade where you need to prove that you have at least one app in the market to access some of the forums. Still look for a good name though (dedicated server and administration knowledge is there)...

If you make a forum, please don't spam it with 100s of different android device subforums. I could scream, when I see an android forum a mile long with images of those android devices.

I don't think, there is a need for an iphone forum, because that market is already served.
For the sake of completeness you can make one, but I wouldn't expect much traffic there

I would rather advice to pick a niche and try to make it as good as possible. If you want to serve all purposes you will end up not having much time for anything and that will result in a poor experience. I know what I am talking about, believe me

What I would do (to stay on topic) a really good android review site, updatet more than once daily and a forum, which is concentrating on apps and developer needs. Nothing else. No secondary market, no Winphone, no hacking and rooting and such. You wouldn't get too much users probably, but you would get quality users.

I would make such a site if I would be at least a little bit interested in Android, but even if I already have a few apps on the market and even if I like my Samsung android phone, I still hate everything to do with the Android community.
