As an iOS developer, what do you think about the Apple review process? Would you prefer to have no review and immediate submission of the app to the market (like Android), or you find the review useful?

I'd prefer a quick review that just makes sure that a. that app works, and b. no inappropriate content.
I think an initial review is good to "keep out the rif raff" (although I've seen lots of riff raff on the app store) but for updates I think we should be able to go straight to market.

The problem with that is after you submit an initial app with not "rif raff"you could completely gut out your app and change it to something else and do an update.
I do think they could make their review process better (been 4 days just for a change of icon)..but i'm also not the one who's getting in thousands of new apps per day to review

You could, but then the market decides that its crap and leaves you bad feedback etc. so its prob not going to make you money anyway.
