PAID app was making 1 sale a week and made yesterday 40 sales! With no promotion.

Hi,

My app was making like 1-2 sales a week and today, when I saw my sales for yesterday, I saw that it made 40 sales in one day!

It never happened to me.
I calculated and I have seen that I received 50% than normally, so it's probably a package discount.

Is there any way to see which company or school or university etc. bought it?

I'm pretty sure all the sales are anonymous

I've got a couple apps that are bought in these chunks somewhat regularly.

Educational volume discounts are indeed anonymous.

Also, I don't think they affect your rankings at all, which is another downside.

But hey, who's complaining right?

You can do an approximation by IP addresses, but you need to install something like Flurry, so you can track the new game activation location.

This is a common practice to know your user map
