I am mainly an Android developer. I have hired someone to port one of my Android apps into an iPhone app.

He has completed it and wants me to test it before I submit it. I gave him my UDID number and he has sent me an .ipa file to test on my iPhone. How do I get this file on my phone via a PC? Is it even possible using a PC?

Your developer should have explained how to do this.

But basically you want to:
1. Open up iTunes
2. Drag/drop the .mobileprovision file (he sent you one hopefully) into the iTunes Library pane
3. Drag/drop the .ipa file into the iTunes Library pane.
4. Connect your iDevice and sync.

Something like the above should do it.
