How difficult to break into Top 25 in a Category (US medical)

So my app has been climing the charts in free medical category but I can't seem to break into the top 25. Right now its hovering between 30-40 and seems to be stuck there. What can I do to "push it over the top" Would it result in a significant amount of new downloads being on the first page? Right now it is iad sponsored and earning @$5.00 a day. Would an investment in ads somewhere to "push it over the top" increase my revenues?

Yeah, there is a barrier around the 25th position because of the increased exposure. Ads are quite expensive, but perhaps some PR? ALso, what Diva said - icon, description, screenshots. You might also try to work on the SEO (sign up for a tool in the sig, we're launching some time next month)

Your web page doesn't work right. When you click on a tab, it doesn't show the tab as clicked. Click 'Press' and it shows the press tab, but the 1st tab is still clicked.
