Changing account from personal to business

Hi everyone,
With a friend we are about to create a iOS development company and we would like to convert one of our personal account (wich already have 2 of our apps) to a company account.
Is it possible ? What do we have to do ?

I did this a few months ago. It's a bit of a hassle but worth the effort. You have to call Apple directly. They will tell you to fax some business documents and supply some information (yes FAX!! :S I used the first free service I found on google, worked like a charm). It went quite fast for me, about a week I think.
The phone number can be found somewhere on Apple developer site.

Btw: I'm from the Netherlands.

Yea just call them up and they will get the ball rolling. I did it about 2 months ago and got it all done in a day. Somethings to note though I am the only one in my company and I had not released any apps yet either so that might make a difference.

Couldn't you always pay for 2 different iOS Dev licenses??

I guess this would be more of a hassle. I can't comment on the process - never been through converting a personal acct. Great input here though

Didn't want to start a new thread on this topic.

I want to transfer my account from individual to business. Does anyone know if you lose any rank your apps have? (i.e. do they have to pull the apps from the store?)

I have a very successful app and don't want to lose the ranking.

We didn't change the account category since the legal procedure to create the company is very long but I don't think you will lose your rankings. Most people switchting from personal to business have very successful apps so it would be stupid if you lost the rankings. But I can't say this for sure ...
