Termination of Account

So, I have seen so many posts about people having their apple accounts terminated. Some are for obvious reasons, while others are truly at Apple's discretion.

Either way, can't they simply create a new account? What are the legal ramifications of doing this?

I guess there's nothing stopping this. Maybe there's a risk of getting sued for millions of dollars for stuff like copyright infringement, destroying the app store or something.

I would think apple would ban your tax id number so you would have to open it under a different identity like your wife or something

If you get your account terminated your banned for 1 Calender Year.

You can either open a account in somebody elses name or wait 1 Year

So could someone then open an account in their wifes name, and because all of their apps would have been removed, they could now upload them all again, just changing the title of the app? Would anyone recognize them? Assuming that they change whatever it was that got them in trouble in the first case? Or would that be considered a stupid thing to do?

Considering They are close to 600,000 applications and 7,920 are uploaded everyday i doubt they would recognize it.

Apple at the end of the day does not care,

They just terminate your account to please the copyright holders to make them think they take a serious stance.

They do not care because they make there money selling the Hardware (IPhones/ITouch), The App Store is just a marketing driving force for them to enable customers to purchase more of there hardware.

Last time i read Apple does not make hardly any money from the App Store, They Break Even because they have to pay huge bandwidth cost.
