I've been reading though the posts here but haven't found any answers to my question so I though I would ask.
The company I work for has developed as desktop application to help companies comply with the the statutory legislation in the UK. Several years ago we expanded this application with simple mobile reporting. At the time we concentrated on the Windows Mobile platform. Now we are being asked to port these programs across to iOS devices.
From my research I can only see two ways of deploying. The first is though the Apple AppStore. The second is enterprise deployment but this seems to be licensed company by company. The problem I have is these applications are bespoke to a customer and only function if they have the desktop part.
If I develop these programs is there a way I can deploy them to a specific customer without them being publicly available or the customer having to by an enterprise license, resign my application and deploy internally?
