Release Date of App

Does anyone know when they release an App, if we have set a date for release? Do they do it after it turns midnight on the scheduled date or later in the day?
Do they use their timing or ours?
I am in Dubai so I set my latest Apps to be on sale for Nov 2nd, and now it is 9.15am on Nov 2nd here, but of course in the US it is about 10.15pm Nov 1st.

So when will my apps actually go to the store?

I am always aiming for the top line of the category for 24 hours. I only managed it once, and it was released on a Sat morning, so it sat in prime position all weekend....it was sweet.

Apps usually go up at 11pm pacific the day before the app is supposed to release, or at least that's what happened for my apps. Convert that into your time zone.

Well it is now nearly 9pm my time, and my Apps have still not appeared in the store yet
