Default Too violent?

Hi,
I'm curious as to whether Apple has ever featured a game that employs some semi-realistic violence?

I'm currently developing a game where the violence is kind of a key component. The goal is to protect a rich Daimyo in central Japan from ninjas who have been hired to assassinate him. It uses rag-doll physics which allows the user to throw the ninjas around with grapple-hooks, as well as dismember them with swords, etc. There is going to be a multitude of weaponry available.

Anyway, would the semi-realistic nature of the game discourage Apple from putting it in a New & Noteworthy category, or promote it in any way? I've removed the blood (may replace with "sweat") and am planning on limiting, or possibly even removing the dismemberment (would be a shame as that's what makes it gimmicky).

Graphics are rough at the moment; mostly placeholders as I wait for my artist to replace them. But, you can see for yourself here: Too violent? - YouTube

What do you think? Too violent?

There's been some violent games featured before so I don't think it would stop them from featuring you

Sure! Modern Combat series, Gangster series...VERY violent and bloody...But Apple can praise them!

Example: Modern Combat 3 is the iPhone and iPad Game of the Week.
--Modern combat 3 is pretty violent, has lots of blood/gore and tons of action.
