Default Does anyone know where I can get some case studies or information on IAP pricing

For example id like to see some kind of report that shows increases or decreases of revenue from different pricing models. It would be interesting to see casual gamers elasticity of demand and willingness to spend.

Thank you for your time. I am doing my own investigation and i will be sure to provide you all with the information we have discovered when its done as well.

IAP strategy is a very app-specific topic, I doubt that you'll find that general kind of information. You have to understand what your users will want to pay for and how much they will be willing to pay for it. There is no general rule of a thumb.

Hi Aragorn, thanks for the reply. Yea I realize every app is specific and high in demand items different between games and what gamers expect from their game. I just would find it interesting if any companies discounted their prices and if it resulted in a increase or decrease in revenue.

There is probably a lot of relevant information available from the Facebook community

I've seen a few case studies like the one below (though it doesn't cover exactly what you want)

Real Money in Virtual Goods: A look at user spending behavior Social Gold | Virtual Currency. Real Commerce.
