Domains, Hosts, & Servers
I was wondering what everyone uses out there, sort of an un-official pole.
Who does everyone like for Domain Registrars, Server Hosts, etc?
Does any one use Rackspace, SquareSpace, GoDaddy
, ?

GoDaddy always looks like the father of all scammers and spammers to me.
I use a registrar and host in my country, but I made very good experiences with german hosts.
Vserver + Root Server + Virtual + Dedizierte + Server mieten
This one is very cheap, very relyable and you can quit monthly. Unfortunatelly you have to speak german to use it.
I don't use it anymore just because I wanted all my websites being on the same server and didn't want to move my oldest sites from my actual provider.

I use Lunar Pages.
Affordable and most of all, tech support is amazing. I have nothing but praise for those guys so far.

the value of linode is great for quality hosting:
Linode - Xen VPS Hosting
the only downside is its so flexible it takes a bit of effort to setup.
low quality (non-vps) shared hosting is cheaper, but the performance and reliability are both much lower.

I just gave up Go Daddy. Terrible support. But worst of all they try to sell you something EVERY moment you are on their site. You push a button to try to get into your domain and it's trying sell you something again. Their menus and navigation is designed lure you into a maze of selling opportunities. Very very frustrating. It wasted hours and hours and hours of my life.
Once you set it all up it works. I agree.
But each time you need to access the domain nuts and bolts expect to be spending 5 or 6 hours trying to puzzle it all out - each time!!! Its that bad.
Just my tuppence.
