Exclamation Is Admob trying to cheat!!

Hi Guys, please help me what can be done in this case, please find below my email to Admob support and their responce

My email 1:
I have multiple applications which Publishes Admob adds, I have been getting a constant request rate from 100K to 200K request each day from all the applications under my account combined , But starting from August 2nd week the Request Rate came down by 50 %for all the applications combined, There was no change in the rate of downloads of my application, also , I have been getting the constant rates from other publisher accounts. Why is there a drop in request from Admob alone. is this some kind of bug, or error in your system. Please explain.

My Email 2:

Admob reporting is showing low request rates - the request rate
have gone down by 50%, please let me know the reason for this reporting
error , I have a steady increase in the download and usage of my apps, and
the analytics show me there is no decrease in the usage. I have already
tried to reach you guys but no response. this is worst customer support
provided so far, please respond before we delete our account and publish
elsewhere.

Their Response 1:

At the moment, there is a technical issue preventing AdSense backfill data
from being populated accordingly in the AdMob account. Please note that we
do have all data internally, it is only the display which is wrong. We are
working hard on updating the statistics for you. By the beginning of next
week, all reports should be normal again.

THier response 2:

Thank you for contacting AdMob support team,
I would like to apologize in the delay to getting back to you.

I have checked your account and the reason of the decrease of the requests on starting Aug 17th is the the launch of a House ads campaign on the same date.

If you’d like to decrease the impressions of House Ads, you should decrease your Impression Goal for your House Ads Campaign.

Let me know if you have any additional question.
Regards,

Why are they trying to give two different reasons for the same question. This happened to any of you please share.

My response 3:

The house Ad campaign was started for only android apps, and I can see the reports show me only 15000 impressions, so far, ALso, i got an response from Admob earlier saying that there is a technical issue preventing AdSense backfill data, Why are you guys trying to give two different answers for one issue

UPDATE :

Third response from ADmob:
Hi,

This problem can be happen if you user older version of Admob SDK.
Please try to implement recent version of SDK.

Thank you

But their latest version is having memory leak issue.

Probably first response was sent without checking because they must be getting lot of emails because of adsense data delay but second one looks genuine . Have you tried deleting in house ads after the mail ? is it still low?

The fact that you actually get response from Admob support is what's baffling to me. How did you manage to get a response?

Had to wait two weeks to know why my revenue is going down by that time have lost a big chunk.

They have made changes in in-house ads without any notice- I can't now manage the percentage of in-house Ad to be shown . ANyone knows the alternative for Admob, I am using iAd and Admob is just the backfill.

I'd say you'd be much better off using something like AdWhirl and using different ad providers than AdMob. With AdWhirl you can see how many requests you are sending each ad network, so disparities like the AdMob error you are seeing are easier to identify.

Also AdMob in generally has the worst eCPM and customer service of any ad network I've tried. I continue to be baffled at how crappy they are, especially after Google bought them out... you'd think they'd have been able to take advantage of Google's vast advertising experience, but so far it seems to have just gotten worse and worse.

In which way did Admob change house ads?

Btw I got a message that admob now has stated the beta of their Ad Network Mediation SDK. I didn't know they are planing to start their own mediation system. Has anyone tried it out? Is it similiar to adwhirl?

We find Adwhirl can cause performance issues with your chosen networks. That performance can hurt your bottom line.

Try using us for mediating amongst 35 networks?

Mobclix,
I am scared to use your service just because there are lots of reviews that tell that the payment is not processed properly. Dont know about Adwhirl, anyone here know how fast the payment is processed for Adwhirl account.

Adwhirl doesn't handle payments, they'll come directly from the other networks.
As for Mobclix payment issues, that's a thing of the past!

LoL! MobClix has been saying that since 2007. Your company should focus more on paying out what you owe developers rather than the parties and stuff you like to throw at WWDC and the like.

Or maybe I misinterpeted and I should take Adam for his literal meaning and assume MobClix issuing any payments at all to developers is a thing of the past

Ouch Charlie, ouch. But deserved.

You'll note, I've never said we've *fixed* the payment system until now and I consider myself trustworthy. There are a few of your colleagues who share your concerns, but there are quite a many of your colleagues this board who've seen the results.

Look around, ask people. We've been very pleased with the outcome and so are our publishers.

This same problem happend to me July 27th. Overnight the requests went from 40,000 to 5,000. They told me it was because the app usage was less. But its actually better than ever.
