Default Availability Date, when to release?

So at 2PM on Jul 14 my app is processing to the app store.
So now I have a decision to make, do I leave the availability date on current so that once it's finished processing it just goes on, or do I change the availability date.

I probably won't get a fast enough response that I could use for this app but this is in general and for the future.

To start off, how does the app store release date category sort itself? If I make the availability date next month for example, will I get less exposure when it comes out because it was actually approved a month before?

If I leave the date as it is, then it will probably be ready for sale sometime throughout the day. I've always wondered maybe this is bad for the app's ranking. If it's there for half the day then it gets half the downloads. By the next day it's already old in the release date list. So will my ranking be hurt if I just let it go on by itself?

If I make the availability date saturday, Jul 16, then it would come up at midnight, and wouldn't I then have a higher ranking? Also I would get more downloads because it's the weekend.

What do you think?

Wow. Seems like a classic case of over-thinking it. Just release the darn thing
