We have an existing iOS app named AccountEdge Mobile (appstore name) with an exe name of AccountEdge (on device). It's available in US, CA, UK.
We're building a localized version for another country which will be distributed by another company with their branding within it.
Although I'm sure they can't submit an app with the appstore itunes name of AccountEdge Mobile, can the exe name (on device) be AccountEdge or does that also need to be unique?
It's not an "exe" But yes, that name (bundle name) is not unique, you can use a bundle name "similar" to your app name if it fits well in the screen.
Like if I have an app called: Account Manager Plus on the Edge Of the universe Mobile, then I would be entitled to have the bundle name as AccountEdge.
PS: I dont think that would make much of a difference for anybody? I'd guess?
