Hi,

there are sites like applyzer that are showing top 1000 App ranking. How is that possible when apple allows up to 400 in rss?

Most likely they get the top apps in all categories (top 200 or whatever) - separately, then merge them by making an educated guess (of the weight of each category - a.k.a the number of downloads a certain position of the category represents).

It wouldn't be perfect, but it should be precise enough for such a chart.
