I have the domain appstore.ws for quite some time. Initially planned to run a parallel app store for html5 apps etc but did not get time to do so. I would like to get your suggestions on what can be done on the domain. Any ideas ?

Sell it as quick as you can and make some bucks, do you want to get sued like Amazon? (For using the word "appStore" which apparently "belongs" to Apple?) Sure you won't
Actually not a bad idea. I would sell it if I get a decent offer
One web app company based on Europe contacted me but it did not work out.
AppStore is as such not a copyrighted term.

I'm afraid Apple begs to differ. If the courts uphold their case they will have copyrights to the term "App Store" and you will be sued if you use it. As cool as it would be to have an appstore.ws domain name, I'm guessing there aren't going to be very many companies willing to stick their neck out that far in the hopes that Apple won't care.
