baja_yu has a spectacular aura about
Default What to save from KeyChain?

I might need to take my iMac in for service (display issues, started showing discoloration and blotches). I've read that in order for an update to be recognized as such, I need to build the app with the same distribution profile. I can download that from iTunes Connect, but do I need to save any keys on my end (probably the ones I generated in order to get a cert in the first place)?

Is there anything else I should export/save? Do you think I should also delete it from the keychain before taking it in for service? What are your experiences?

Launch Xcode. Go to the Organizer. Under Development, go to Developer Profile. Click the "Export Developer Profile" button. That file (and the password you give it) is all you need. They really streamlined the process in the last few Xcode releases.
