Default 30% App Comission question

Hi all, I know that there's a 30% commission to apple when I sell an app. However if I make a free app. and sell products(ie. hats) within the app., will they still take 30% from me? If so is there any way around it?

Thanks in advance.

As I understand it, since you cannot use in-app purchasing for actual goods (i.e. hats) you'll be using some other shopping cart method and they will not be taking a cut.

You'd better provide more functionality than just a webview loading your website. I doubt that would be approved.

I had hunch it wouldn't work. I just wasn't sure. Thanks for all your answers.
