Over the past year, I used several ad networks, yet I still find myself shopping around for the best one. Below you will find a list of the ad networks/aggregators that I have used/tried using, and my conclusions based on those experiences. Please keep in mind that these reviews are based exclusively on my experiences, and should not be perceived as an endorsement for any networks in discussion. I only use banner ads for my applications, and here are my conclusions.
iAd: While iAd has the best eCPM's , their fill rates are abysmal and must be used in conjunction with another ad network(s) in order to keep your fill rate at 100%. While iAd is still maturing, they seem to continually expand and improve their performance, and my guess is that they will make leaps and bounds this year. I think once iAd becomes global, they will fix the fill rate issue. Their eCPM is always over $1.00, and is far superior than all competitors.
Mobclix: The best overall ad network that I've used so far. While their eCPM is not not nearly as much as iAd, it is higher than Admob. Their fill rate is usually 100% because they use multiple ad networks. The payment terms are Net90, and that really sucks for small devs like myself. It takes long to process payments because they must collect money from all of the networks that advertise in your apps before paying you. Their eCPM's seem to be over a dollar about 70% of the time while optimization is on. The eCPM does not seem to reflect on the CTR, and ranged from $0.33 to $4.50 with a 3-4% CTR
Admob: While their payment terms are one of the best out there (Net30), their fill rate and eCPM is inferior. The eCPM seems to directly reflect on the CTR. I have an application with 0.27% average CTR and $0.15 eCPM, yet I have another application with 3.5 % average CTR and $1.15 eCPM. The eCPM stays over $1.00 about 70% of the time. The fill rate normally hovers at about 95%, and it is also recommended to integrate Admob in conjunction with other ad networks to keep the fill rate at 100%. It seems like keeping the eCPM above a dollar relies on your CTR, but I would like to know if other developers have different results.
Burstly: While I really wanted to use this aggregator, 2 groups of developers were unable to integrate it into our apps properly. There are several Gray areas in their SDK and their email/'telephone support is not the greatest. On their website, they claim that their eCPM's are one of the best because of their optimization system. I would love to hear from people that are using this aggregator, and what their experience was like.
It would be interesting to find out how similar/different other developers experiences are from my own as well as strategies that have been used to maintain a high eCPM consistently. Any contributions to this discussion are greatly appreciated.
What networks from Mobclix should I use? Which offer the highest eCPM?
Sign up for them all, the lowest will be set at a priority so they don't get a chance to fill unless none of the higher paying networks choose to fill.

Might be because this is my first day with Mobclix, but apparently in my Dashboard it says the eCPM is $0.00?!?
