As I pointed out in post #11, the guide says you can get banned from the Developer program. It's up to them to determine when you crossed the line. But if you ask me, he did. He's selling the same 'tic-tac-toe' app 5 times, just with different graphics, and '*****' app 5 times... oh wait, that's ok. I forgot different kinds of knockers require different coding.

And those 'Win $100' apps are fishy as hell too.
Haha am I the only one who saw the Baby ***** app? Hahaha WTF?

Nah, there's a zillion spammier apps than that, and lots of them on the "What's Hot" lists in the categories. And that $100 app has been there since March of last year. Weird that appannie missed it. Maybe Apple pulled it as soon as he bumped the price to $449 to pull the top grossing trick, Appannie took a snapshot, then Apple pulled his account, too. That price point has got to be pretty easy to flag.

Look at this. These are champions, but there are gazillions of more doing fine.
Apple doesn't ban developers for spamming. Yes, Apple can ban anybody for anything or for no reason at all, but Apple never banned devs for spamming. It just never happened. Apple actually favored spammers because it gave them "we now have 300,000 apps" talking point and Jobs bragged about that in every show.
It could be for those "win $100" apps. Or it could be for something more serious we do'nt know about.

I don't remember the web-site, but you could sort by number of apps per dev and all these spammers were pretty much visible. These guys had several hundreds of apps at least. It is sad, of course, but works for Apple

lol that seems to be it. He probably got banned for spamming. I believe in the new rules, you can be outright banned for this.
If you check on iGamesDev's other posts, it seems he was last complaining about not yet being paid for October. Methinks Apple was onto him for a while.
What a waste of creativity.
Never understood how some people spend so much time, energy and creativity trying out all kind of tricks, when the same investment in something valuable would have brought them so much more in return.

I'm not sure on what you say, it is not just "waste of creativity", my problem with these people, is that they make money scamming people, with a set of weird apps, where the content is just images (or with fake app as Any Phone Tracker or stuttering apps as Doodle)

I just feel it would take me as much time to think and set up operations like that as it does creating valuable apps.

According to him, Apple did not give him the money. And he's probably out of luck to get his developer account back. Not that he cares I guess, he'll probably move on to sell frozen meat door to door.
