Not my experience at all. Besides the US, the big countries for us are in Europe, North America and Australia.
Since by country sales are not the purpose of this thread, I started a new thread to deal with the topic of
App Sales by Country and posted our paid apps sales percentages there.
Tie in to this thread is that with Verizon CDMA phones coming out, other CDMA carriers may join the iPhone party both domestic and foreign. Also, I talked to a verizon rep today and he said that the verizon phones will be CDMA and GSM capable but will only switch to GSM when CDMA network is not available and that because the phones can switch network type at any time, they won't be able to do data and voice at the same time (unless the data is wifi). Said that the phones come preloaded with a SIM and that allows them to be used more easily outside the US.
He also said he's heard good things about the next iPhone due to come out sometime this year.
