Best Ad Network?

Hi there,

I've just read two very interesting blog posts where a guy discloses all of his figures concerning some different ad networks.
All in oll, a mixture of a few networks seems to work best. As in his example, he uses admob and madvertise. Whereas admob doesn't reach very high eCPMs, they do fill international traffic quite good. Madvertise on the other hand does not fill as good on an international basis, but has best eCPMs and fillrates within Europe:

Therefore, I would suggest to send European traffic to madvertise with a backfill on admob e.g. and vice versa non-Europen Traffic to admob with a backfill on another network.

go for an optimisation platform. You can access multiple ad networks including iad & admob..it will be particularly useful if you have global traffic…

In fact it is very easy to use both iAd and Admob in the same application!

You can find a detailed explanation at this site: Mixing iAd and AdMob

But in-short the idea behind it is to:

Create an iAd banner and an Admob banner in viewDidLoad
Only the iAd banner gets registered
When iAd fails Admob banner gets registered
If iAd would become active again, the Admob banner will disappear
It even uses a sliding effect to hide and show the advertisements in the bottom of the screen.

So far I can't give a correct number on the revenue, but I can say that the fill rate for iAd is around 30% and for Admob around 95%
