Hi,this is my first time on the app store, and first version of the app, so i have some questions. pardon me if it sounds silly ... but i need answers quick and from people who know what they are doing.
I have an app that i believe is probably in the wrong section (entertainment)
at the time i thought it to be a better place and now i wish to change that.
however ,i don't wont to make any changes to my app at this point.
can anyone tell if it is possible to upload the binary again as a new version without changing the actual code. will apple accept this as a new version ?
thats pretty much the only way i can change the meta tags and category isn't it ?
the first time around i had my developers do the submission for me ( im the Entrepreneur not the actual developer) now im not longer working with them but i have the source code and the binary file .
would it be as simple just to uploading it to the itunes connect website or do i need the uploader thing. ( i am working on pc ).

If your app has not be approved yet you can change your keywords and I am pretty sure you can change your category all the time
Hi , my app has been approved Already , which is why I'm asking
Can I resubmit the exact same app as a new version in order to change the metadata( keywords , categories , etc ) ?
I can't change my category now , I'm certain of that.

Just resubmit and put "bug fix" they won't know you didn't change anything

Thats great news.
Will do , just to make sure , if I have the previous submitted binary code ,
All I have to do is re upload it ?
Or does it need a new compiling etc ?
Like I said , I'm not the actual programmer . And all I have now are the materials from my programmers ( source code , and binary )
So I want to make sure I can resubmit that without their help .

Thanks very much for the advice !
You will only need to change the version number in the .plist file. Once you change that you will need to rebuild the app. And then submit that binary.

Crap,.. that's bad news , I don't have a Mac ,
Nor the ability to recompile ....
Was hoping I can resubmit the old binary for now...
