Non Spam bulk distribution of apps

Hi All

New here and looking for some advice

We have some 13 Apps online right now, with a further 10 under development, alls good and everyones happy.

I have been asked to sort out a bulk distribution on some of them - ie to send out 500+ to various customers.

I'm happy to gift them but I'm terrified that we would be somehow accused or seen to be spamming the system in order to drive reviews and stuff.

Let me be clear - the people we are sending the apps to our normal customers, we don't know them in any other way

Is there any definitive advice on this? - I've been searching support docs but can't find any, alternatively is there a contact at Apple who can advise on this?

I'd just do it. If a problem arises deal with it then. It's easy to get paranoid about apples hold on the app store, but any flag that might be automatically raised in response to this at apple will have a human being look at it before any action is taken. I'd expect them to be reasonable and use some sense.

Note this is just an opinion, i have not done the same so have no experience of it.
