According to App Annie, one of my Apps is featured in the USA - What's Hot - Arcade section. How would I access this list? All I have seen is the What's Hot in the general category and not for a specific category or subcategory (Games > Arcade).
in itunes, open the app store -> games, then on the right side (a little bit down the screen) is More Games with the categories ... choose your category (arcade?) and then you should see all arcade titles with the sections what's hot and new & noteworthy ... guess that's what you're looking for, isn't it?

and sometimes you'll have to click "see more", it only shows the 4-5 latest or something. But it might already be gone, the "feature" doesn't last long and doesn't increase sales

The What's Hot lists show the top 12, and you have to click to see the rest - 120 of them.
Actually, as I stated in another thread, many of the apps near the top of the list tend to stay there for very long times - months even - (although they occasionally drop out for a day or a week or so) but the ordering of the lists bounces around like a ship in a bad storm.
And the thing that matters most, unfortunately, is that there is almost certainly no effect on sales from being featured in those lists - the same goes for the category New and Noteworthy.
Ya... One of my apps got new and noteworthy in the finance section... was in the top 5 for at least a week and I had very few downloads. Not sure why Apple even keeps those sections around.

Our app got featured in the general/overall New and Noteworthy, which really does help sales, unlike the category features. Then we got moved to "What's Hot" after a week, which killed sales for the iPhone version, but it actually did fairly well for the iPad version. I noticed that with the iPad version's "What's Hot" section, you could still see our app on the first screen of the app store, while with the iPhone version, I could only see the section we're in from the desktop version of iTunes.
So I think what matters the most is whether you can get to your app fairly quickly and without searching from the device. If it's a feature that's only available on the desktop version of iTunes, it's mostly useless. But if it's easily accessible from the device's app store, you'll see a bump in sales.
