Planning to post first app in appstore.help needed

Hi,

I finished my app coding and planing to post in appstore.What are the other things that i need to take care like notifications etc,before posting it in appstore.To know the number of downloads ,do i need to add anything in my code?

You can see your number of downloads on your application daily via iTunes Connect. You also submit your application through iTunes Connect.
