Default Question about multiple ad networks.

Hi guys, sorry if this has been posted before. I am new to the forum and think it is great, I have read many great posts here. I am in the process of getting my first app created. Its a game and I outsourced it and the developer is almost done with it so I am getting to the stage where I'm trying to figure out the best way to market it and all that.

But this question is about ad networks. I'm going to put iAds in the first page of the game, and I was wondering if I can also put other ad networks along with iAds. So really what I want is to use Admob and iAds together, is that possible? Or am I limited to only using iAds and nothing else?

I would also appreciate any pre-launch tips that you guys can give me, thanks!

Adwhirl works with iAds, admob (in fact admob owns adwhirl now), and many others.

I think there are a couple of other ones but Adwhirl has always worked fine for me.

EDIT: looks like pofak beat me to it

thanks for the quick response guys, when you say its worked fine for you do you mean its been profitable?

I have no idea what to expect on revenue from these ad networks. Can you guys give me an idea of how much revenue I can possibly generate?

I know obviously it depends on how many downloads / users I have but just so that I can have a rough idea.

thanks again!

There are so many variables it's impossible to give ballpark figures.

Some factors:
-How often are your ads displayed
-Ad placement within the app

Essentially it boils down to how popular/how many impressions you are able to generate. So is it profitable? I mean you can't lose money with ad networks? I have seen ranges from a few cents to several thousand dollars a day (I have personally never hit the several thousand a day but have heard of people who do).

One of the nice things about adWhirl is you can set percentages for each ad network on the fly so if one network is doing extremely well its very easy to direct more traffic to it.
