Unhappy June Financial Reports

Hi,

Anybody got financial reports for June? May financial reports were delivered on 12th of June. It is more than a week later than last month, but I did not receive any June financial report.

Thx

They usually slow in the summer time as well as getting applications reviewed.

I have noticed any fiscal month with 5 weeks seem to take longer. The reports should start coming in this week and paid latest by next. But going back thru all the 5 week months it is the same.

I rebut that, Both April and May where both Long Months and we got our reports on time.

You are incorrect. I have all my documents lined up. May was not a long month may was the 2nd thru the 29th and april payments were issued the 26th thru the 29th. The last of a five week period.

Do you get frustrated because you love them or you love them because you get frustrated?

No ****, But we get paid on a fiscal month which has nothing to do with how many days in the month.

April had 5 weeks from March 28th thru May 1st
May has 4 weeks from May 2nd thru May 29th

Only one month per quarter has 5 weeks. That was April and that was the month that we were paid late versus the other two months.

I have always wondered why does it take Apple 45 days to pay out, when companys like Paypal and Google take 3-5 days.

I ask a internal apple employee and he said the reason it takes a while because apple wants to build interest % on the money, They paid over a billion last year to developers so you do the math

Not sure if this is true because company bank accounts don't earn you interest. I believe the 25 days approx (not 45) would be to ensure that any chargebacks etc are cleared out and payments are as actual as possible.

Why don't you be quiet. Having 5 weeks in a month has nothing to do with the Status Report being late. all the months that had 31th in them where January, March, May all where 5 weeks

and we always got the Europe Reports on time.

The Reason for the slowdown is because most Apple Employees on vacation during the summer till the fall. Thats why The Reports are Late. And that why Reviews for Applications and updates have slowed down alot.

Dude i give up you have no idea what i am saying. One more time Take the fiscal month calendar and take the dates off your emails that state the report is available and take the payment dates from you bank and for the last year plus they have been around the same time. At least for me. And any 5 week fiscal month they come later than the 4 week fiscal month compare them. The payments also come around the same time 26th thru the 29th for payments on 5 week fiscal months. And for me reports come in the day before they deposit in my account +/-3. 5 week fiscal months take longer for some reason.

Take some time and figure it out. I can go back for the last two years if you would like. Its all the same.

Oct 2009 fiscal 5 week reports started the 21st
Jan 2010 fiscal 5 week reports started the 20th
April 2010 fiscal 5 week reports started the 19th

All 4 week fiscals start between the 12th and the 17th

nov 17th 2009
dec 15th 2009
feb 13th 2010
may 15th 2010
june 12th 2010

March is the only one in 2 years that have come outside of the normal

the March 5th 2010

If I understand you correctly, the report does not start the first day of the month and does not start at the end of the month. The report always starts on a Sunday. It' either the first Sunday of a month or the last Sunday of the previous month. So, for example, June can start in May and end in July. Did I understand you correctly?

Very Close you are getting the right idea.

Go to : http://itts.apple.com or go to you sales and trends link in itunes connect. It is the same place.

Log in and at the top the link for Fiscal Calendar is there. That will show you the dates from when to when you will be paid for. Example :

You will be paid in July for the dates May 30th thru June 26th
You will be Paid Aug for the dates June 27th thru july 31st.
You will be paid Sept for the dates Aug 1st thru Aug 28th
You will be paid Oct for the dates Aug 29th thru Sept 25th

and so on.

It has nothing to do with calendar month dates. Nothing at all.

Then take that fiscal calendar and overlay your payments from the past and the reports and you will see a pattern. That has been there for the last two years. It has nothing to do with dates. Look at where they land and you will see that five week fiscal months pay you and email you reports on the last week and a half. and all the 4 week fiscals are on about the same. The dates change due to where they fall on the fiscal calendar. But if you take some time you will see the pattern.

This is the major reason you hear people asking if others have been shorted money from one month to another. They are taking calendar days not fiscal calendar days. Makes a big difference. I even catch my self complaining and then i have to double check the dates and re-adjust my filemaker database to make sure and it is always on.

No didn't get my financial report but from the dates listed above as far as which days are included in this month's payday I fall short. When I first logged into iTunes Connect this morning it gave me the ability to select daily stats all the way back into May. So I started on May 30th and went through June 26th and counted all US Region sales. I had exactly 100, which multiplied by $1.40 leaves me $140, $10 short of being paid for the month.
